Common questions

FAQs — quick answers to the questions we are asked most often.

How do I…?

Enrol on a course

Browse the Courses page to find the one you want, then select Enrol now — this opens our online registration form in Selma, our student management system. Not sure which course is right for you? Send us an enquiry and we will help. Our courses are open to learners aged 5 and over.

Apply for a refund

How much you get back depends on when you withdraw. The refund tiers and the steps to apply are set out in the Student Handbook.

Get credit for study I have already done

Ask us about Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). The Student Handbook explains what we can recognise and how to apply.

Raise a concern or make a complaint

Please talk to us first — our internal complaints process is in the Student Handbook, and every concern is taken seriously.

If you are still not satisfied, you can go outside ISSNZ:

  • NZQA — for complaints about a provider not following the Code of Practice.
  • Study Complaints | Ngā Amuamu Tauira — free and independent, for money or contract disputes. Phone 0800 00 66 75.

Get help if I am struggling

You do not have to manage on your own. Student Wellbeing Services sets out the academic, personal and cultural support we offer, and how to ask for it.
