Children’s Panjabi Language Programme

Level-based children's Panjabi: Gurmukhi, reading, writing, speaking, culture and Sikh heritage.

Our largest programme welcomes children aged 5 to 16 for structured, age-banded Panjabi classes. Children learn to read, write and speak Panjabi while building a strong connection to Sikh values and their heritage, guided by trained and experienced teachers.

What your child will learn

  • Sikh values, stories and culture woven into every class
  • Presentation skills through class activities and events

Both in-person and online classes are available, with children placed in the level that matches their age and ability.

Entry criteria

School-age children. Placement by age and proficiency. Beginners welcome.

Schedule

Starts February each year; later enrolment subject to places. Beginner levels have monthly intakes. Contact ISSNZ admin to confirm the current fee.
